Group Sales & Ticketing Intern - Syracuse

Job Description:

Seasonal Sales Representatives will work full-time with the Syracuse Mets Ticket Sales Staff during the 2025 baseball season. Reps will learn sales strategies, how to manage a ticket office, customer service & communication skills, and more. This position can be used for college internship/Capstone Project credit.

Job Summary:

  • Rate of Pay: $15.50/hour
  • Work Ticket Office windows selling tickets to fans
  • Answer phones: Answering all fan questions, including tickets, promotions, operations, etc. & selling tickets
  • Prospect, Sell, Service, and Follow Up with potential clients and groups
  • Cold-calling potential clients
  • Must have excellent customer service and organization skills
  • Experience using ticket-sales platform preferred (i.e. tickets.com, Ticket Return, Glitnir)
  • Work all Syracuse Mets home games in addition to normal business hours & other events as assigned, including events outside Ticketing Department
  • Must be available to work full-time from January 2025 through May 2025, including nights, weekends & holidays (35 hours/week, overtime as necessary)
  • All other duties as assigned; may include, but are not limited to pulling tarp, community events, non-baseball stadium events and other non-sales related activities.
