Summary:
The Alumni Associate is responsible for administrative and event support for the supervisor, as well as project work in Alumni relations, Ambassador programming, and organizational capacities including, but not limited to, travel coordination for Ambassador appearances, invoice and expense submissions, and event support for Alumni events and anniversaries, as well as assist with development of Alumni engagement.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Primary:
Assist with travel booking and internal ballpark coordination for Ambassador appearances, on-site anniversary celebrations, NHOF inductions, and other Alumni visits
Escort Alumni to requests around the ballpark during home games
Support in organization with meetings, planning, and program development
Assist in creating/supporting plans and updates to build an Alumni Association and grow the department
Assist in ensuring we maintain positive relations with all Alumni
General:
Administrative support – Project organization, travel booking, email correspondence, scheduling etc.
Generate purchase paperwork, and track purchase orders to ensure invoices are received and paid in a timely fashion.
Maintenance of Ambassador schedules and travel.
Support in kick-starting an Alumni engagement platform

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience in marketing, Alumni relations, PR, sports, or events and entertainment preferred.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
Excellent team player and collaborator.
Able to prioritize, plan, make decisions and over-communicate in a lean organization.
Quick and innovative thinker with anticipatory sense and an excellent sense of judgment with the ability to navigate nuance and sensitivities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong knowledge of baseball; familiarity with Mets and club history is a plus.
