Summary:
The Citi Field Tours Account Executive will be responsible for driving revenue by selling non-gameday public & private tours, gameday tours, proposal and gender reveal packages, photo shoot packages, educational tours, virtual tours and more. The Account Executive will develop relationships with all clients and work at growing these accounts year-over-year. The AE will reach their goals by phone prospecting, setting up ballpark tours/events and appointments, participating in sales/promotional events, and prospecting at Mets home games/internal & external events. The AE will assist with marketing efforts for the Citi Field Tours Program and is also responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, updating and maintaining account records, assisting in the
day-to-day operation and other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for, but not limited to, the sales of Citi Field Tours & Specialty Packages to both private groups and the general public
Assist in content creation to be used for marketing materials on various platforms
Assist in all day-to-day operations
Assist with scheduling of tour staff
Meet or exceed established sales goals of $500,000
Implement and demonstrate outbound sales efforts by using sales and service best practices, prospecting, networking, lead generation, referral gathering, data capture, and personal database management
Generate a pre-determined minimum number of weekly calls & in-ballpark meetings to create new business opportunities
Provide a superior level of customer service to all New Business Prospects and Event Guests
Continually follow up pre- and post-event to ensure group leader’s event was well executed and group had excellent experience at Citi Field.
Continually create and implement unique sales strategies, ideas and programs as a means of producing new business opportunities
Contribute positively to the sales team culture by developing mutually beneficial working relationships with all team members
Expected to work some nights and weekends
Qualifications and Requirements:
2+ years of successful sales experience
Be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Must have strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly with energy and enthusiasm
Must show strong teamwork and relationship building skills
Show innovation, initiative, autonomy and a strong work ethic
Must be able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment while being proactive and flexible in the face of change and last-minute requirements
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficient computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and Outlook) as well as the ability to learn and master new software programs including the Triple Seat and ticketing systems (Microsoft CRM and Tickets.com ProVenue)

Salary Range:
$45,000 - $60,000
