The New York Jets are seeking qualified candidates to fill roles within the Event & Gameday position. The primary responsibility of this position will be to promote the brand at home games and events in the community. Team members will assist with the set-up, management, and breakdown of games/events, while playing a strong role in fan development. We are seeking energetic candidates who are enthusiastic about and committed to promoting the New York Jets brand. Team members must be upbeat, outgoing individuals with a strong work ethic who possess the ability to interact and relate with all types of people. This role is key to providing high quality sports entertainment for our fans. Team members will represent the organization, team, and its partners at various events throughout the season.
Job Description:

  • Fan-facing group of individuals that bring energy to gameday to promote the New York Jets brand
  • Provide full operational support (set-up/tear-down) of all events and Jets home games
  • Assist in events and promotional activities in an effort to grow the New York Jets fan base
  • Engage prospective and current New York Jets fans in a professional and positive manner through various promotion, events, and marketing efforts
  • Supervise children on inflatable rides at Jets Fest events
  • Act as security at various events
  • Assist with all in-game promotions including: live videoboard features, crowd prompts and camera shots
  • Act as a Fan Ambassador on stadium Club levels, parking lots, and plaza
  • Support the coordination and execution of pre-game, halftime, and post-game entertainment

Job Qualifications:

  • Passionate about the New York Jets, the game of football, and sports in general
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiastic with a professional demeanor to interact with all types of fans and sponsors
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to be a team player and enjoy working in teams
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, willingness to accept all assignments, quick learner
  • Attention to detail, proven ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment
  • Available to work all New York Jets home games and other special events as needed
  • Must have flexible hours and be able to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must attend all 2024 Jets home games
  • Must have the ability to handle and coordinate large groups of people
  • Must have completed one year of college

Other Information:

  • Dates: End of April to the end of season: all New York Jets home games including events.
  • All hired staff will be required to attend an orientation (date: TBD).
  • Hours: No set hours, based on event and gameday schedule
  • Pay: Staff will be paid on an hourly basis
  • Attire: New York Jets shirt and khaki pants/shorts
