SUMMARY
This Manager of Finance position will be responsible for overseeing all financial tasks associated with the Consumer Products licensing business for assigned contracts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The manager will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Manage all financial aspects of the Consumer Products business for assigned licensees
  • Oversee processing of royalties reported
  • Communicate with licensees regarding royalty reports, payments, and any issues that arise
  • Manage open receivables for assigned licensees
  • Coordinate with the Legal and Consumer Products teams to review contracts and amendments associated with assigned licensees
  • Review financial results for assigned licensees, including data presented on Consumer Products dashboards in Tagetik/Qlik
  • Assist with analyzing variance to budget/forecast and commentaries for senior management
  • Coordinate with the Consumer Products team regarding any ad hoc analyses for assigned licensees and lines of business
  • Prepare support for year-end financial statement audits
  • Manage royalty analyst assigned to licensees
  • Work with the Consumer Products team to establish budgets and forecasts for assigned licensees
  • Perform ad hoc special projects


QUALIFICATIONS

Individual selected for this position must have the following qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of the revenue recognition, accounting processes and the accounts receivable cycle
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills and able to solve problems
  • Take initiative and develop creative solutions to issues
  • Experience with business analytics tools a plus. Tagetik/Qlik preferred


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience with consumer products licensing and RightsLogic a plus
  • 3+ years of experience with royalty-based revenue and related contracts

SALARY RANGE:

$90-100K

Actual base pay for a successful candidate will be determined based on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to: experience/training, market demands, and geographic location.
