Linear Ad Operations Manager

Position Summary:
This candidate reports to the Global Linear Ad Operations Sr. Manager - Global Media Operations (GMO) within the Network Partnerships and Programming department. This role will play an integral part in supporting the day-to-day responsibilities for linear ad operations, with a heavy concentration on trafficking, reporting, and troubleshooting of retained commercial inventory across linear broadcasts.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with external partners, legal, marketing, and other internal stakeholders to traffic sales and institutional media across National and Local broadcasts for NBA, WNBA, and G League programming.
  • Create and distribute monthly broadcast reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage trafficking of our 24 hr NBATVI network and serves as a backup in scheduling for our 24 hr. NBATVI network.
  • Responsible for obtaining, compiling, and distributing telecaster specifications and government policies, laws and clearance requirements.
  • Manages duplication and delivery budget for GPM and Marketing.
  • Manages deliverables in partnership with Marketing to ensure all creatives are delivered by the deadline.
  • Maintain direct day-to-day communication with internal marketing and the media sponsorship teams to effectively implement media plans.
  • Manage local domestic mapping/blackouts for RSN (Regional Sports Networks) and OTA (On the Air) which includes direct communication with department head and NBA legal department.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and advancements in ad technology to continuously improve operational efficiency.

Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • Systematic linear ad trafficking
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Must be able to work within the team concept

Experience Needed:

  • 5+ years of ad operations experience

Educational Background Required:

  • Undergraduate college degree required

Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000
