Digital & Subscription Analytics - Europe & Middle East

Position Summary:

This 12-month FTC role will work closely with the Digital Analytics Lead to support NBA Europe's digital and direct-to-consumer (DTC) initiatives. This role is pivotal in analyzing digital product performance and subscriber behaviour and executing strategies for business growth. The individual will collaborate with various internal teams to maintain and enhance analytics capabilities, contributing to data-driven decision-making processes.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing stakeholder relationships across various business units, focusing on analytics and reporting needs.
  • Support the development and execution of the analytics roadmap, aligning with the objectives of the Fan Engagement & DTC leadership team.
  • Contribute to advanced subscriber modelling efforts to segment and predict behaviours, aiding in sales growth and churn reduction.
  • Participate in the analysis process to inform pricing and packaging strategies.
  • Help integrate third-party data, ensuring the robustness and quality of analytics.
  • Assist in producing and maintaining regular reports, ensuring they reflect valuable insights and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with data infrastructure teams to define requirements and enhance tools and systems.
  • Help maintain data integrity, proactively identifying and addressing data and reporting issues.
  • Enable efficient deployment of critical technologies to help deliver compelling fan experiences.

Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in data visualization software such as Tableau and Power BI is a must
  • Proficiency in SQL is a must
  • Advanced modelling skills; experience developing, implementing, and running segmentation, propensity, and attribution models
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical methods and programming languages for data analysis
  • Must have the ability to present data and insights in a distilled and easily understandable format
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Experience Needed:

  • 1-3 years of experience in data analytics and visualization, preferably focusing on subscription-based services.
  • Experience in a supporting role within a consultancy, research, or digital agency environment.
  • Familiarity with major analytics and data visualization tools.

Educational Background Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Math, Computer Science, Analytics, or a related field.
  • Further education in a relevant discipline is advantageous.
