The Minnesota Timberwolves ticket sales team is growing! We are looking to add Ticket Sales Account Executives as we lean into our record-breaking season. What would you do?

​​We are seeking a dedicated Account Executive for our Business Development team to develop, service, and nurture client relationships. As an Account Executive in Business Development, you are a comprehensive sales consultant with a strong emphasis on selling full-season memberships and partial plan ticket inventory for the Timberwolves.

  1. ​​ Generate new ticket sales revenue from full & partial season memberships, premium seating, and group tickets by connecting with B2B and B2C leads curated by the Business Intelligence team.
  2. Develop pipeline by making daily outbound calls to qualified leads
  3. Host prospects for arena tours, meetings, corporate events
  4. Meet or exceed weekly activity requirements including outbound calls and completed appointments
  5. Provide excellent customer service by creating unique touch points, promptly responding to requests or communications, and establishing a dynamic relationship with all customers.
  6. Document all communication in Client Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  7. Attend local community and corporate sponsored events to increase networking opportunities
  8. Participate in educational opportunities on product offerings, pricing, and sales strategies, as well as market trends and industry standards to develop your skills.
  9. Perform and strengthen other duties as they are assigned.

Additional information:

Work Environment

​​​This job operates in a professional office environment. Office hours are typically 8:30 AM-5:00PM Monday-Friday. In addition to working office hours staff are required to work all Timberwolves games, in addition to external events. Work is both sedentary and mobile in nature. The working environment is generally favorable. In the office lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. This job also operates in a sports arena, which includes bleachers/steps. Arenas may have inadequate lighting and loud noises​​​.

Physical Demands

​​​​The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, kneel, or crawl while carrying a camera device. The employee may frequently remain in a stationary position, as well as operate computers and other office equipment, such as a copy machine, printer, and telephone. Staff will frequently ascend and descend bleachers/steps and traverse around the building both on event days and non-event days. Staff may occasionally move items weighing up to 50 pounds.​

Travel Position will require some local travel. ​
