What would you do?

​​The Developer work within the Business Intelligence department and is responsible for maintaining the database and supporting applications, while assisting in the development of strategies for data input growth, ETL processes, archive recovery, and warehouse integration. This position also cleans and maintains the database by removing old data or duplications and evaluates and makes recommendations for implementation of integration with new technology. This position will work closely with the Senior Developer in Business Intelligence.

  1. Responsible for the day-to-day management of data within the Microsoft CRM database and data warehouse, including data imports and data hygiene.
  2. Facilitates the integration of the CRM database with the ticketing system and the Marketo email marketing system.
  3. Utilize third-party API’s and necessary additional resources to capture, transfer and/or store data.
  4. Support the collection and management of all customer related data.
  5. Assist the Business Intelligence team with design projects to upgrade CRM functionality for department stakeholders and build Data Migration Pipelines using tools such as (but not limited to) SQL, Python, Microsoft PowerApps and PowerAutomate (Flows).
  6. Assist in the development, implementation, optimization, and troubleshooting of Extract / Transform / Load (ETL) processes.
  7. Assist in the development and maintenance of a strategy to ensure data standards, security, stewardship, lineage, and metadata management
  8. Oversee all aspects of database operations, including defining and resolving database problems, monitoring performance, and managing storage.
  9. Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other:

  1. Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
  2. Computer skills required: experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) is required.
  3. Knowledge of T-SQL and Python strongly preferred.
  4. Knowledge of understanding and working with API’s preferred.
  5. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM is preferred.
  6. Experience with or knowledge of a cloud provider (AWS, MS Azure) desired
  7. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
  8. Ability to work well on a team and independently.
  9. Ability to manage specific processes and tasks in the department under supervision.

Additional information:

Experience:

  1. Minimum two (2) years of experience in database development, database administration or IT-related roles.
  2. Experience with Business intelligence, data warehousing, and/or data integration
  3. Knowledge of Microsoft SQL server maintenance and operations.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field.

Work Environment

​​​​This job operates in a professional office environment. Office hours are typically 8:30 AM-5:00PM Monday-Friday. Work is generally sedentary in nature. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. This job also operates in a sports arena, which includes bleachers/steps.

Physical Demands

​​​​ The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate and exchange information with others both in person and over the telephone. The employee frequently is required to remain in a stationary position, as well as operate computers and other office equipment, such as a copy machine, printer and telephone. Staff will frequently ascend and descend bleachers/steps and traverse around the arena both on event days and non-event days. Staff may occasionally move objects weighing up to 15 pounds.

Travel ​​Position may require travel to external events. ​
