What would you do?
The individual in this role will oversee members of the social media team in addition to the Timberwolves & Lynx social properties – managing, executing, analyzing, and strategizing digital initiatives to foster growth and engagement. This person will be responsible for the development and execution of strategy behind the organization’s online voice, online presence, digital monetization efforts, content creation, paid social marketing, retail marketing, and more.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other:
Experience: 5-7 years of digital content experience preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has supervisory responsibilities.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds.
Travel: Travel is expected for this position during the WNBA season.
This job operates in a professional office environment. Office hours are typically 8:30 AM-5:00PM Monday-Friday. In addition to working office hours staff are required to work all Timberwolves and Lynx games, in addition to external events. Work is both sedentary and mobile in nature. The working environment is generally favorable. In the office lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. This job also operates in a sports arena, which includes bleachers/steps. Arenas may have inadequate lighting and loud noises.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, kneel, or crawl while carrying a camera device. The employee may frequently remain in a stationary position, as well as operate computers and other office equipment, such as a copy machine, printer, and telephone. Staff will frequently ascend and descend bleachers/steps and traverse around the building both on event days and non-event days. Staff may occasionally move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Travel Position will require some travel.
