Senior Director, Partnership Activation Job Description

Status: Full-time
Summary:
The Sr. Director of Partnership Activation will manage the day-to-day operation of the Partnership Activation Department with a focus on providing our partners with world-class service and strategic activation platforms resulting in increased partnership retention and revenue.
Location:
- This is a full-time position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all partnership service and activation for Miami Dolphins & Hard Rock Stadium sponsors
- Manage, train and supervise six-to-eight-person Activation team
- Enhance current partnership agreements with focus on new/improved activation platforms
- Lead and own all renewal conversations with partners while driving upsell opportunities
- Use creative thinking and industry knowledge to maximize ROI for each partner
- Fulfill Miami Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium partnership agreements with exceptional customer service
- Research, catalogue and implement industry wide activation ideas, concepts and platform
- Responsibility and accountability for department revenue targets and budget management
- Conduct face-to-face meetings and presentations with current and prospective partners
- Manages all partnership deliverables (i.e. signage, print, promotional, entertainment elements, etc.) to ensure quality standards and that client expectations are met and activations are compliant with NFL policies
- Oversee mid-season and end of season partner recaps
- Utilize CRM as a tool for inventory management and fulfillment tracking
- Increase annual partner investments via upsells and new activation elements
- Plan and execute all partner events from start to finish
- Work with other departments to ensure fulfillment of all client deliverables/communication
- Strive to achieve company and department goals and objectives
- Develop strong, long-term relationships with both clients and co-workers
- Perform other duties, as assigned
Qualifications:
- College Degree (preferably in Marketing or Sports Management) or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 8+ years in partnership activation
- Marketing and promotions planning background
- Ability to effectively communicate both orally and written
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities and projects while working with many clients
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Photoshop
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Strong personnel management, communication, time management and organizational skills; Proven ability to multi-task and manage projects on strict deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal skills. Proven ability to correctly use punctuation and grammar
- Possess high degree of discretion and professionalism

- Strong ability to work well with co-workers and supervisors in a team environment
