Raiderettes Coordinator

Position Overview:

This position will serve as a liaison between all Raiderettes department staff, while aiding the Director in ensuring department efficiency in all facets. This position will also be responsible for coordinating schedules and appearances.

Essential Job Functions

  • Provide administrative support for the department including all home games.
  • Collaborate with Director to select award winners at the end of the season.
  • Assist with the management of Raiderettes participating in events/appearances.
  • Maintain knowledge of best practices for league standards.
  • Help with the organization and promotion of auditions.
  • Assist with all travel, lodging, and meal arrangements for the team when participating in events.
  • Manage the uniform inventory such as sorting, sizing, distribution and ordering/receiving.
  • Aid in the maintenance of eligibility forms, emergency data cards, equipment inventory, and other related records.
  • Ensure proper set-up, breakdown and maintenance of performance spaces.
  • Maintain all department supplies, materials and equipment.
  • Attend staff development meetings, clinics, and other professional activities.
  • Manage and supervise Raiders Ambassadors at all Raiderettes events; plan and create event timelines, job assignments, and expectations for the Raiders Ambassador staff.
  • Approve with Payroll and Raiderettes reimbursements.
  • Assist with the draft game day schedule.
  • Model sports-like behavior and maintain appropriate conduct towards cheerleaders.
  • Model nondiscriminatory practices in all activities.
  • All other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree required or equivalent work experience.
  • 1+ years of administrative experience.
  • Sports or Entertainment industry required.
  • Previous dancer experience preferred.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism with athletes and administration.
  • Extremely organized and professional.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and organizational skills; ability to concisely and accurately convey information in email, Excel, Word and PowerPoint programs to a variety of constituents.
  • Exceptional communicational skills (written, verbal and presentation) are required.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.
  • Presents self in professional manner and have ability to interact with all levels of organization and outside contacts.
  • Exquisite attention to detail and follow-through in all responsibilities.
  • Must be flexible regarding work hours including nights, weekends
  • Ability to work extended hours and flexible schedule including nights and weekends as needed.


Physical Aspects of Position (includes but are not limited to):

  • Sitting for long periods of time throughout shift
  • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 25lbs
  • Occasional walking, standing, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
