Reports to: Director of Client Services
Status: Salary, Exempt

JOB SUMMARY: The Kansas City Chiefs Client Services Manager will manage all aspects of assigned suite accounts. They will also assist as needed with premium events, hospitality, and general suites services for the organization. The Client Services Manager will gain hands on experience in professional sports business development and customer relations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Suite Account Management – the Client Services Manager will be responsible for all aspects of account management for accounts as assigned, including but not limited to the suite renewal process, general account support, ticket fulfillment needs, suite needs, asset management, collections, etc.
  • Chiefs Gameday – Suite Member fulfillment and VIP hospitality, execute game day operations, special events, hospitality programs and all tasks pertaining to current client services and suite management.
  • Current Suite Member Support – Assist in maintaining current partnerships, including ticket fulfillment, gift deliveries, suite presentation, entertainment tracking, catering, etc.
  • Learn product offerings and be able to speak knowledgably to clients and potential customers.
  • Work closely with the Business Development team to prepare and execute sound and effective renewal and growth strategies.
  • Participate in and work as assigned for all client service and special events, including but not limited to VIP gatherings, concerts, college football games, etc.
  • Contribute to overall departmental suite sales and service strategy by establishing long-term account relationships and continued client development initiatives and upsell opportunities.
  • Work closely with other departments and Kansas City Chiefs partners (i.e. Corporate Partnerships, Finance, Stadium Operations, Levy, Aramark, etc.) to ensure seamless and successful service initiatives and fulfillment.
  • Work internally to ensure organizational objectives are met within the suite experience.
  • Be engaged and offer new, fresh ideas, events, and programs to add value for current and potential Suite Members.

QUICK FACTS / REQUIREMENTS:

  • Interview expenses such as travel, etc. are the responsibility of the candidate.

  • All candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S.A.

HOURS REQUIRED:

  • 40 hours per week and events/game days.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Light office duties and activities.
  • Will periodically be required to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

  • Four (4) year college degree in business, communications, sports management or related field.
  • Qualified candidates should have a history of customer/account management, preferably in a revenue-based role.
  • Qualified candidates must possess superior organizational skills and be able to function in a fast-paced, multi-task setting.
  • Individuals must possess effective oral and written communication skills, and an attention to detail.
  • Must have a working knowledge of the following Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and have internet research skills.
