Summary:
The Media Operations & Strategy General Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Astros and Rockets’ jointly-owned Regional Sports Network, SCHN. and working in conjunction with the Board to identify and implement media strategies in support of the Astros and Rockets. This position is based out of the Space City Home Network office, at 1201 San Jacinto St., Houston, TX.

Work Environment
Position will work in an office and stadium environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Must be able to work in all types of outdoor weather conditions and within a stadium environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and focused vision.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including extended hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Travel
Moderate travel may be expected for this position.
