The positions purpose is to support the implementation of the Academy Mission and Objectives through the delivery of Analysis work within the youth development phase, specifically leading the programme for the U16s and U15s. This role will support the overarching age group objectives and commitments to player development in collaboration with the wider multi-disciplinary team. Furthermore, the role will contribute to the development of the Insights strategic objectives in the creation of bespoke and streamlined data systems & effective workflows to ensure the Academy can move forward in an action orientated way.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Be an active member of the U16s and U15s Multi-Disciplinary team developing, monitoring, and reviewing both team and individual KPI’s across the season.

Support the broad player development processes with the MDT to ensure a tailored individual approach.

Ensure ‘best practice’ is used throughout the Academy with specific regards to the capturing, coding, and visualisation of video and data.

Support the MDT with timely and appropriate presentations and reports to support ongoing and iterative reflection of player performance.

Support the alignment and scaffolding of analysis provision throughout the age groups.

Collaborate with the Talent ID and Recruitment team to identify, collect and analyse video footage for player recruitment purposes.

Contribute to our student learning programme by providing support to staff around coding and presenting of video content.

Undertake continued professional development and be in a position to present learnings back into the Insights team and/or MDT
