The positions purpose is to work under the direction of the Head Coach and liaise with the Pre-Academy Manager on the delivery of the midweek Redhill Advanced Centre programme. The target is to identify and develop the most talented U6-U8 players in the Redhill and surrounding areas to support relationship building and recruitment/retention of players with high potential to join the Academy at U9's. This role will be a mixed Futsal & Football coaching position. Our Redhill Advanced Centre will take place indoors with Futsal equipment and rules in place during sessions. However, fixture opportunities for the programme may take place on weekends and will be in a footballing format.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Coaching:
- Lead Futsal Coaching sessions weekly at the Redhill Centre
- Support Head Coach in the aligned delivery of high quality Futsal training sessions
- Plan/deliver and review all sessions in line with the academy coaching philosophies and Pre-Academy season plan.
- Support on weekend Advanced Centre games programme for designated age groups in line with the academy philosophies.
- Use the club's appropriate incident reporting system when required
Player Management:
- Support the retention of players via relationship building with players and parents
- Support the week-to-week running of the Redhill Advanced Centre
- Ensure the Academy value's are implemented in all sessions/games.
- Ensure all players have a positive experience whilst at Fulham.
