FC Dallas Youth Club Intern

FC Dallas Youth has created a unique hands-on experience for students looking to gain experience in the sports industry. We are looking for a detail oriented, bright, passionate, hard-working student to be a part of our team through our internship program. You will assist the FCDY Operations Director and College Director with planning, organizing, communication, preparation, and execution of multiple events.

This internship will allow the individual to gain valuable experience with a professional organization for their future in the sports and entertainment industry. All candidate hours can be flexible to accommodate with your school or work schedule. Some nights, weekends, and holidays will be required.

What You’ll Do:

  • Help organize College Signing Night for Seniors signing National Letters of Intent and ensure event runs smoothly.
  • Manage online check-in for over 200 teams participating in the Scott Dymond College Showcase.
  • Coordinate and oversee the headquarters and coach’s hospitality tent during the Scott Dymond College Showcase.
  • Acquire, coordinate, and communicate with Dallas Cup Volunteers.
  • Assist with 2024 Tryout preparation.

You Are:

  • A friendly, upbeat student wanting to work within the sports industry.
  • Hard-working, dedicated, and passionate about soccer.
  • Able to take initiative and maintain a high level of professionalism within a professional sports environment.
  • Deadline-driven and can work under pressure while juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Required to work a flexible schedule to include some nights, weekends and holidays based on match schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Must be an active college student.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have a valid Driver License and clean driving record and access to your own vehicle.
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
