This role plays an essential part in the delivery of the retail operation at the Crystal Palace Flagship store at Selhurst stadium. This role will also have the store managers in both the Croydon and Bromley stores as direct reports. You will have overall responsibility for Managing the store and overseeing its performance across sales, display, and customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the operation of the store including merchandising the display systems, cash management, opening, and closing duties.

  • General customer service and store shop duties including operating the till, pricing merchandise, shirt printing of names and numbers, stocking shelves, and responding to customer emails, inquiries, and returns.

  • Responsible for all staff rotas including matchdays.

  • Overall responsibility for managing the main store and retail Matchday outlets at Selhurst Park.

  • Storeroom duties such as receiving deliveries and re-organising merchandise storage.

  • Supporting staff so that they can develop their skills in the role and achieve growth in sales.

  • Working in conjunction with consultants and contracts to ensure shop refits are carried out in accordance with national guidelines and that shop standards are maintained.

  • Being responsible for maintaining all shops and complying with both safety standards and planned preventative maintenance.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous retail management experience (essential)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • An enthusiastic approach to all tasks

  • Ability to work to deadlines.

  • Detail orientated.

  • Enthusiastic

  • Self-motivated

  • Organised and have good time management skills.
