JOB SUMMARY:

Rock Entertainment Group (REG) is seeking a dynamic and results-driven 'Manager, REG Partnership Development' to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. This role is pivotal in driving new business sales across our diverse portfolio, which includes exciting properties such as 'Tennis in The Land' powered by Rocket Mortgage, 'Pickle in The Land', two music festivals, and various other unique events. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in sports sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building lasting partnerships.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and mine potential leads within the sports and entertainment sectors, focusing on maximizing opportunities for partnership growth.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to drive new business for REG properties, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and nurture relationships with potential partners, sponsors, and stakeholders to foster collaboration and engagement.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities for partnership development.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations tailored to the needs of prospective partners.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and event management, to ensure a seamless partnership experience.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on partnership development metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve targets.
  • Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote REG properties and cultivate new business opportunities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business, sports management, communications, marketing, or a closely related field.
  • 1+ year of experience in sports partnerships sales, media, and/or direct sales is preferred.
  • Proven track record in lead generation and new business development.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with the sports and entertainment industry, particularly in the Cleveland area, is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
