Position Overview:
Chicago Fire Football Club is looking to add a Digital Marketing Specialist to our Digital Marketing team. This role will report to the Director of Digital Marketing and will support the strategy and execution of integrated digital marketing and oversee the day-to-day ownership and maintenance of the team’s official website and mobile app.
In this role, the individual will continue evolving how the Fire think about utilizing digital channels and platforms to reach our fan base and how we drive tangible results for the organization and our partners. They will be responsible for increasing customer engagement by designing and executing scalable paid media campaigns and the overall editorial, content and marketing strategies across owned platforms. They will work cross-functionally on marketing efforts that span verticals and stakeholders across the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, test and execute cross-channel marketing campaigns using paid media (Meta, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, Google Ads, Connected TV, Out-of-Home) through managed vendor/agency relationships.
- Manage and execute day-to-day content and marketing strategies for Chicagofirefc.com and the Chicago Fire FC App, inclusive of push notifications, marketing placements, etc.
- Build all product and/or initiative pages and lead the development of interactive microsites and webpages on an ongoing basis.
- Maintain optimal website framework and user journey experience (UX) for Chicagofirefc.com, the Chicago Fire FC App and other enterprise digital platforms with a mobile-first mindset.
- Execute A/B tests of key marketing materials and campaigns to drive continuous improvement.
- Measure, analyze, synthesize and present key findings from paid and owned media campaigns to inform short and long-term business efforts.
- Collaborate across all verticals (Ticketing, Corporate Partnerships, Soccer Business, BSA, etc.) to understand and execute against organizational objectives.
- Liaise with Corporate Partnerships team for trafficking all sponsored digital ads and internal marketing placements for Chicagofirefc.com and the Chicago Fire FC App through Google Ad Manager.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- 2-3 years’ experience with advertising technology and tools (Meta Ads, Google Ads, Pixels, Facebook Business Manager) and/or digital publishing/CMS management (Forge, Google Ad Manager, HTML, CSS).
- Knowledge of digital marketing best practices and processes, including an understanding of paid and owned media, search engine marketing and mobile-centric web builds.
- Ability to leverage a technical mindset with a creative and analytical approach to problem solving.
- Ability to manage priorities and coordinate tasks to solve day-to-day challenges in a dynamic environment.
- Possess executive presence, ability to partner with senior leaders as well as operationalize ideas and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and project management skills.
- Must display a strong work ethic and desire to build a career in professional sports

- Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, including all home games (or other work events) that fall on nights, weekends, and/or holidays
