The Position

Reporting to the Director, Season Ticket Sales – CSEC, the Account Executive will be primarily focused on prospecting and finding new business for the Calgary Flames, Calgary Stampeders, Calgary Roughnecks, Calgary Wranglers and Calgary Hitmen.

Key Accountabilities

Primary focus will be on prospecting and finding new business for the Calgary Flames, Calgary Stampeders, Calgary Roughnecks, Calgary Wranglers and Calgary Hitmen through cold-calling.
Selling new season tickets for the Calgary Flames, Calgary Stampeders, Calgary Roughnecks, Calgary Wranglers and Calgary Hitmen through cold-calling and high activity levels.
Assisting with ticket administration and packaging.
Supporting in-game promotions and working trade shows and events for all teams.
Performing related duties as assigned.

The Individual

The ideal candidate will have the following background:

One to three years sale experience in the sports & entertainment industry;
Post –secondary degree or equivalent sales and marketing experience;
Ability to build and maintain client relationships, problem solve, be creative and have a motivation to meet sales goals;
Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment;
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications
