We are looking for a Partner Services Manager to provide best in class partner servicing and account management to our Official Kit Partner.

We're looking for someone with excellent stakeholder management skills, who knows how to get the best out of a commercial partnership for both parties.

Your day-to-day

  • Responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Club’s Official Kit Partner.
  • Leading point of contact for client relationship within the Club.
  • Overseeing delivery of all contractual rights afforded to Partner, including planning and overseeing all Club Day (player appearances) activity.
  • Providing a dedicated and consistently high level of service to the Partner in line with the investment provided to the Club, continually identifying areas where service levels can be improved, implementing across team and other Partners where applicable.
  • Building detailed knowledge of Partner business to help drive mutually beneficial activation programmes:
    • Developing relationships with relevant management personnel throughout client’s business as part of increasing depth of relationship.
    • In addition, build knowledge of designated Partner’s business category (competitor activity, brand immersion, trends etc.).
    • Understanding brand priorities and sensitivities.
  • Ensuring Partner contractual obligations are fulfilled flawlessly at all times:
    • Working with Partner to maximise the value of their rights, identifying and delivering opportunities for Partner to activate their Club association, proactively presenting ideas regularly.
    • Devising and implementing servicing strategy for lead partner, establishing meeting cadences internally and externally and setting roles and responsibilities.
    • Continuously tracking and delivering post-campaign evaluations on Partner’s activation.
  • Management responsibility of one (Senior) Partner Services Executive, clearly defining split of responsibilities, delegation of tasks and supporting in their professional development.

What we are looking for

  • Relevant experience of providing first-class account management for, or on behalf of brands across multiple sectors & markets.
  • Experience of working for, exposure to managing sponsorship interests (rights holder or agency) for a leading sports/sportswear manufacturer brand.
  • Strong understanding of brand marketing and experience of managing/implementing campaigns across traditional and new media channels.
  • Demonstrable understanding of retail industry and relationship with kit partners.
  • Experience in generating, building and presenting activation ideas to partners.
  • Experience in managing, planning and implementation of Partnership-related activation programmes.
  • Experience of rights management & fulfilment (including brand approvals/brand guardianship).
  • Line management experience.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organisation, planning and project management skills to ensure flawless delivery of rights.
  • Proactive attitude to identify areas of opportunity and improvement for partner and to ensure partner’s product category is protected at all times.
  • A dynamic, confident communicator (verbal, written) who is able to build mutually beneficial relationships with a broad range of internal & external stakeholders, adapting style and approach as and when required.
  • An understanding of brand dynamics and consumer trends.
