
Line Cook
What to be excited for in this role:
Practice strict safety and sanitation to ensure guest satisfaction.
Prepare food items for clients and guests using quality methods in a timely manner.
Assisting Chef with the preparation, production and plating of all meals promptly.
Supporting kitchen staff including performing prep work, cleaning and dish washing.
Communicate effectively with Chef & clients, and be able to follow instructions and recipes.
Construct appropriate and creative buffet lines to maximize guest flow & satisfaction.
Prepare and execute catering functions, and ability to communicate with FOH staff and Managers.
Good knowledge of creating omelets and breakfast items using nutritious and effective methods.
What we need from you:
Have minimum 2 year’s experience as a Kitchen line cook executing line service, both restaurant and buffet.
Must have a valid Certified Food Handler certificate.
Must be available for a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends. The successful candidate should expect to work 32+ hours per week.
Must be personable, maintain a professional disposition and dress hygienically in accordance with policy.
Possess a passion for providing attentive & exceptional customer service.
Adhere to all policies outlined by True North Sports + Entertainment.
As hockey for all centre is not on a Winnipeg Transit bus route, must have a means of transportation.
