The Event Security & Transportation Coordinator will support our gameday and non-football event staffing coordination at FedExField. This role will oversee all security equipment, assist with security systems, and support standard operating procedures for the Washington Commanders Security Operations.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee Washington Commander Security Equipment (CEIA Mags, VOTI X-Ray Machines, 24/7 Checkpoint Devices)
Assist with Security Systems Operations (CCTVs, 24/7 Software Incident Management System, Access Control, Visitor Database, Emergency Mass Notification System, Drone Detection, Fire Panel System)
Lead Non-Football Event Security and Parking Coordination (Staffing, Wristbands, Load-In Schedule)
Oversee Security and Transportation Gameday Service Recovery (Track Compliments, Complaints, and Lost and Found)
Assist Operations Manager with security and transportation signage orders
Facilitate Non-Football Parking Lot Reservations (Approved Events, Public Safety Training, etc.)
Support Gameday Credential Application and Distribution
Participate in Pre-Event Security Walkthroughs (Visiting Team Security, Security Gate Operations, and Parking)
Coordinate 24/7 FedExField Security Agent Recruitment and Scheduling
Organize Gameday and Non-Football Events Security Standard Operating Procedures
Oversee Pre-Game Security Perimeter Inspections (Check security mags, gates, and loading dock)
Assist with Safety Act Application (Develop Road Map for Security/Ops Team)
Oversee Event Security and Parking Training Program
Support 24/7 FedExField Security Emergency Training Criteria Program
Schedule Preventive Maintenance for Security Equip. (CCTVS, CEIA Mags, Access Control, X-Ray)
Assist Director of Facilities with building security maintenance reports
Advance prepaid parking documentation to SVP of Operations
Inventory Parking Equipment (Vest, Flags, Signs, and Cones) and Security Uniforms
Perform other duties and task associated with Security & Transportation Operations
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelorโs degree from an accredited college or university is highly preferred.
1-2 years of event security venue experience.
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels.
Proficient in the operation and use of various software applications (including Word, Excel and Outlook) and eagerness to learn new systems.
Ability to perform duties with alignment to the Commanders Core Values.
Requires the ability to collaborate effectively with a sense of urgency and discretion.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Working Conditions:
Ability to work events and football home games, including extended hours, weekends, and holidays
Ability to lift and move equipment 50lbs or more.
Valid state driver's license is required.
Working environment in office setting and also requires work outside through the various seasons and could include walking and standing for periods of time in both indoor and outdoor settings.
