The Washington Commanders are seeking responsible individuals to join our Security Event Representative Team on a Part Time/Seasonal basis. The right fit individuals will provide excellent customer service, and security throughout Commanders Field during Commanders Game Day and Special Events. This Position reports to the Director, Security & Transportation.
Security Event Representatives: Are responsible to assigned areas such as Gates, Back of House, Field, and Club Level to work with Event Security Supervisors related to deployments, fan experience support, and compliance with NFL Security Fan Code of Conduct Best Practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for an assigned portion of the stadium and respond to any situations with assigned area for security supervisors.
- Assist with event security briefings related to credential checks, access points, and staffing deployment checklist.
- Execute Emergency Preparedness Standard Operation Procedures if needed.
- Assist with data collection with incident tracking system within assigned area.
- Provide guests with excellent customer service to enhance their game day fan experience.
- Enforce Commanders Field, Commanders, and NFL rules, regulations, and policies.
- Assist with security fan related complaints and concerns.
- Understanding of Commanders Field Stadium Layout (including stadium seating sections, premium seating locations, clubs, auxiliary areas, ramps, stadium parking, and stadium services locations) and policies/procedures/City Ordinance.
- Assist with data collection with incident tracking system within assigned area.
- Help execute emergency situations.
- Communicate detailed information over radios using proper radio etiquette.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Acknowledge that you will be exposed to privileged and confidential information.
Requirements:
- Detail oriented individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 1-3 years of Event Management experience preferred.
- Experience in a supervisory role preferred.
- Must commit to work all Commanders Home Games and Major Stadium Events.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be 18 and over with HS Diploma or GED.
- Ability to be friendly and courteous, regardless of the situation.
- Effective verbal communication skills and excellent writing skills.
- Strong interpersonal and public speaking skills.
- Be a team player who can work well in a fast-paced challenging environment
