POSITION SUMMARY:

The Partnership Marketing (PM) team is made up of client-centric marketers who create multi-platform integrated marketing programs that deliver on partner objectives, and is a major driver of revenue for Canucks Sports & Entertainment (CSE). The Manager, Partnership Marketing will lead several accounts directly and will be charged with delivering an industry-leading level of value to these partners. The incumbent will accomplish this by delivering an incredible amount of value through new concepts, ideas, and connections. They will work to create breakthrough and compelling campaigns to engage and activate with our partners, entertain our fans, and serve our community.

This role will focus on:

Leading several CSE partner relationships; understanding the specific business of each partner and building plans to deliver on objectives
Building strong and trusted business relationships with senior clients through proactive communication
Delivering on plans and goals including relationship and engagement time, upsell revenue, renewal revenue, and value delivery
Facilitating a process for development of new ideas, programs, and activations
Tracking value delivery and ensuring team has delivered all contractual benefits and more
Coordinating on ideation and ensuring execution fulfillment with internal departments
Monitoring CSE social media accounts for partner-related content and identifying and mitigating any issues
Maintaining a strong presence at Canucks and Warriors home games, and traveling as necessary for relationship building, value delivery, etc.
Hosting and entertaining corporate partners at games and events
Overseeing professional development and results of team, including providing regular feedback and creating training opportunities
Working collaboratively with direct reports on account lists, including relationship building, partner strategy, and value delivery

YOU HAVE:

Minimum of three years’ experience in partnership marketing in sports and entertainment or brand or agency
Experience purchasing and/or activating corporate partnerships
Action-oriented personality with a high degree of initiative and known to have the knack for getting things done
Commitment to a vision of service that will make CSE the preferred partner of our corporate partners
Demonstrated leadership skills that have directly resulted in team success and individual team member growth and development
Excellent knowledge in the practices and principles related to the sale, negotiation, implementation, and execution of contractual corporate partnership process
Familiarity with standard value tracking and measurement tools
Superior communication, conflict resolution skills, with the ability to relate professionally to all levels of staff, management, clientele, suppliers, and partners
Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle conflicting deadlines and prioritize

Flexibility and willingness to work evenings and weekends as required
This is an onsite role at our office in downtown Vancouver
