Job Summary:

The Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified talent for open full-time and part-time positions within the organization. Overall responsibilities include sourcing, screening, and interviewing potential candidates for Business Operations and Arena Operations job openings. This position will be responsible for building a strong employment brand and ensuring the candidate and employee experience is world-class. The Recruiter will also participate in administering an innovative and effective onboarding process for all new hires.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the staffing process by partnering with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, and to create compliant job descriptions
  • Provide recruitment counsel and guidance to hiring managers through employment data, metrics, and best practices
  • Enhance the recruitment process through development of innovative, creative, and proactive recruiting strategies to meet the business needs of each assigned department
  • Promote diversity in the workplace and ensure recruiting strategies attract diverse candidates
  • Provide full cycle recruiting to ensure a positive experience for both hiring managers and candidates (including posting positions, reviewing applications, phone screening, and managing logistics of the interview process)
  • Maintain accurate and well-organized documentation of candidate and recruiting activities to ensure legal compliance with employment best practices, policies, processes, and applicable laws
  • Coordinate candidate logistics (i.e., travel) and all interview schedules
  • Develop innovative and creative strategies for job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach for large volume seasonal hiring
  • Leverage various resources to source qualified candidates including the internet, job fairs, community-based organizations, print media, formal/informal networks, and sports/entertainment network
  • Perform exit interviews and report quarterly trends and metrics
  • Manage the weekly/quarterly staffing and requisition reports
  • Oversee the new hire paperwork process via Workday, ensuring consistency and accuracy

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required
  • 3-5 years’ experience in high volume recruiting
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
  • Thorough understanding of HR principles, techniques, and procedures
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Results-oriented and strong customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Professional attitude and interpersonal skills
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and use of discretion
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Ability to build credibility and establish trust among coworkers and management
