JOB SUMMARY
The Financial Analyst will be a member of the Vinik Sports Group Finance Department who has a positive attitude, problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset. They should be success driven and passionate about providing high level support to our organization. This individual will need to demonstrate a basic understanding of Financial principles in relation to Financial Planning & Analysis, Budgeting, Forecasting and Cash Flow Management. They must possess the ability to effectively communicate with members of the organization at all levels. They will be a critical participant in reoccurring and ad-hoc reporting, analysis and partnership with internal leaders pursuant to achieving metrics as aligned to the VSG financial goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze historical and current financial data to understand corporate status
Support corporate cash flow management functions including but not limited to cash flow reporting, banking administration and execution of external payments
Active participation in reporting, analysis and mitigation of cash constraints
Proactive review of current actuals with a view to forecasting future opportunities for success or variances to strategy
Collaborate with internal department leaders on the formulation and implementation of annual budgets and forecasts
Create and analyze dynamic reporting to assist department leads in strategic decision making
Review processes to identify gaps and areas for improvement
Coordinate with members of the finance, accounting and business teams to ensure accuracy of data
Participate in ad-hoc projects or information accumulation as requested by management

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or the equivalent work experience
0-2 years of professional experience
Advanced Excel skills as well as proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, Power Point, etc)
Experience working with multi-dimensional database technology (Prophix, Hyperion, Cognos, or equivalent), is preferred
Ability to build strong working relationships and be a trusted advisor
Excellent communication skills (oral and written); excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills; excellent organization skills
Proper handling of confidential matters and information
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Desire to learn, adapt and drive forward new methodologies
Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment as part of a team

WORKING CONDITIONS
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in office and arena environment that can be exciting, loud and distracting
This is an onsite role; flexibility to work a minority of time remotely.
Ability to work extended hours including late nights, holidays, and weekends as needed
Ability to work prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Ability to lift/carry/move up to 10lbs
Ability to work in cold indoor temperatures
Ability to use hands and fingers on office and mobile technology
Ability to listen and speak on phone, in meetings, and in one-on-one conversations
Ability to commute to various venues throughout the Greater Tampa Bay Area
