The Pittsburgh Penguins “IceBreakers” Promo Team is our front-facing Game Entertainment Activations staff at every Penguins home game. Our members have fun, upbeat personalities, endless amounts of energy, are comfortable in front of large audiences in a live arena environment, and are ready to help the Pittsburgh Penguins create life-long memories for all fans who enter PPG Paints Arena. In short, you’re going to help us make every Penguins home game the best party in Pittsburgh. This is a part-time, gameday, seasonal position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist Game Presentation staff as needed in the optimum execution of all live elements throughout the event, including general fan engagement, contestant selection, promotions & sponsorship activations on and off the ice, mascot interaction, scripted announcements, etc.
Engage, interact, and create positive energy w/ fans at every opportunity throughout the event.
Work all Pittsburgh Penguins home games and select events as scheduled, including nights, weekends, and holiday dates as needed.
Other duties as assigned

Comfortable and confident working in front of large, live crowds.
Great self-starting teammate who is highly-motivated, and carries themselves professionally at all times.
Reliable and Trustworthy. You’re accountable for your actions.
Ability to work under pressure while executing assignments, and also be creative and innovative with ability to improvise when needed.
Knowledge and passion for Pittsburgh, pop culture and trends, sports, hockey, the NHL, and the Pittsburgh Penguins
Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks at a time.
Ability to take direction and feedback for you to implement into your job.
Physically fit, able to move about the venue quickly and stay on feet for extended periods.
Bonus Points for past relevant live event “Hype” experience, and applicable individual talents/skills including skating, dancing, magic, etc.

Requirements:

· Must be at least 18 or older as of September 1, 2024 w/ high school diploma or G.E.D.

· Physically fit and comfortable in front of large crowds. Some heavy lifting and moving large objects.

· Flexible schedule as needed to attend all scheduled practices, games, and other related activities.

· Available for at least 75% of all home games, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Gameday meal and parking will be provided.
