JOB SUMMARY

The Security Guard position is responsible for providing game-day security services at Citizens Bank Park. This is customer facing position that requires a high level of customer service, while maintaining the safety and security of our ballpark for our guests.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide excellent customer service to all guests that attend events.
Monitor metal detection and conduct bag inspections.
Ensure that Citizens Bank Park remain a smoke-free facility.
Monitor crowd in seating sections and queuing lines.
Assist in ejections of unruly guests.
Document all incidents and report them to your supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and have great attention to detail.
Must be able to work autonomously and with a team at all levels of the organization and with a diverse work force.
Availability to work long hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Strong customer service skills.
Strong teamwork attitude.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

With or without reasonable accommodation, the physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following: seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly.
Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling.
Constant standing for extended periods of time lasting a minimum of 5 hours per event.
Frequent walking to monitor sections, which may involve ascending/descending stairs and walking up inclines and/or uneven surfaces.
Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions for extended periods of time.
