This is an exciting time at Newcastle United Women and, following our recent move to full time professional status, we are looking for talented individuals to help us on our journey. To help us deliver on our ambitious plans we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to deliver best practice medical / rehabilitation services to the Women’s Team first team players at Newcastle United Women FC.

Possessing significant experience within a physiotherapist role in elite / professional sport you will be required to deliver high quality, effective clinical care through best clinical practice. You will provide pitch-side physiotherapist cover for Women’s First Team match days and training session as required, ensuring that you work with the wider multi-disciplinary team to complete and maintain the player injury profiling system.

You will be pro-active in the prevention, diagnosis and rehabilitation of all injuries, ensuring compliance with all professional, clinical and integrated governance standards and will keep up to date with clinical, scientific and technical innovations to maintain the highest level of player care.

As such you will have strong communication and negotiation skills and possess a BSc in Physiotherapy, FA Level 5 ATMMiF and hold membership of both the CSP and HCPC.Experience in working with female athletes in professional sport would be highly advantageous.
