Summary:

Mets Snaps covers the Fan Photography for every home game of the New York Mets. Our team typically arrives shortly before gates open. We begin shooting photos of the fans before the gates open in the Plaza area. Once the gates to the ballpark open, you would then move inside to various sections of the ballpark and conclude at the end of the 6th inning. This is a part-time seasonal role.

We are FAN Photographers, not sports photographers. You will not shoot action on the field at any time.

We shoot well composed, professional portraits of fans on the plazas, inside the stadium, in the concourses, and in the seats throughout each game.

Games at Citi Field bring together thousands of people.

It’s a lot of fun working with that many sports fans, but it’s also a very loud and stimulating atmosphere. In order to command the fan’s attention, you need to be energetic, outgoing, and politely assertive.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Shoot fan photos pre-game and in-game. Photograph high quality images for internet downloads
Proactively approaching fans and engaging them in conversation
Operating digital technology (Camera equipment, iPhone)
Able to troubleshoot equipment
Standing for extended periods and working outdoors

Qualifications:

Knowledge of photography, DSLR camera equipment
Overall professionalism, cheerful disposition, teamwork
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Available April – October and able to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and holidays
Must have own transportation to and from Citi Field
