Summary:
Director of Growth Initiatives. The director will be part of newly formed team reporting to the Chief Growth Officer. The team’s mission is to grow fan engagement and revenue for the Mets by launching new initiatives, businesses, and partnerships. The director will own initiatives from end to end, from the ideation and conception phase through to execution.
This role is based at Citi Field in Queens, NY and requires four days/week in the office.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Conduct analysis and research to identify and evaluate growth opportunities
Work across functions to build and present plans for new initiatives, including financial model, customer value proposition, and multi-year growth plan
Identify potential partners that bring new capabilities to the Mets, conduct outreach, evaluate partnership opportunities, and negotiate deals
Get buy-in from stakeholders and leadership for new partnerships and initiatives
Execute on new partnerships and initiatives in close collaboration with legal, sponsorship sales, ticketing, and operations teams
Collaborate with finance and analytics to develop success metrics and track and report progress
Qualifications:
3+ years experience in management consulting, corporate development, business development, business strategy and operations, or similar roles
Experience working across functions to launch new things
Experience conducting market research and building business plans and financial models
Curiosity about and points of view on the evolving world of sports, media, and entertainment
Ability to empathize and communicate effectively with everyone from senior leaders to frontline workers
An open-minded, creative, entrepreneurial mindset and ability work creatively to overcome roadblocks

Salary Range:
