This is a temporary position with an expected duration not to exceed (10) months.

Essential Functions and Job Summary

This new position will join a team whose impact spans multiple departments, working on all matters related to player health. We are looking for an individual whose contributions will improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of departmental operations. We are seeking a person who is ready to roll up their sleeves and help with administrative tasks related to player health initiatives, which may include health information, database management, and other discrete projects.

Major Responsibilities

  • Support designated player health projects, to help ensure that the objectives of the project are accomplished within a prescribed time frame
  • Interact with the team health, performance, and operational staff on player health-related programs, and act as a point of contact for departmental questions
  • Act as a liaison between NBA vendors and the Player Health department on data input and quality matters
  • Support communications and presentations to team personnel and NBA leadership related to player health initiatives and systems
  • Assist the player health group in the overall management and administration of NBA player health systems, particularly the NBA electronic medical records system, and other systems that contribute to NBA player participation and injury reporting and analyses


Required Education/Professional Experience

Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred (BA/BS);

Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in drafting documents/spreadsheets and creating dynamic presentations using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) required
  • Familiarity with other technical software platforms and systems would be an advantage.

Salary Range: $28/hr - $33/hr
