Job Summary
This position is part of a growing Marketing Analytics team with the mission to drive growth through data-driven decision-making. You will have an opportunity to contribute to growing the NBA fanbase by analyzing marketing campaign performance and fan behavior. Success in this role requires the ability to close the gap between data and actionable insights and the ability to communicate those insights.

Major Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of how marketing campaigns drive fan interest, acquisition, and retention across the NBA’s digital and non-digital platforms.
  • Provide deep analysis of the NBA’s subscription product (League Pass) around new acquisitions, attribution, and revenue
  • Collaborate with key collaborators & team leads in order to communicate insights and recommendations clearly and concisely.
  • Develop dashboards for decision-makers across marketing via Tableau or PowerBI.
  • Develop a rich understanding of the NBA and its fanbase.
  • Assist with A/B test design and analyses to improve customer acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization.
  • Collaborate with peers to find optimal strategic recommendations for marketing tactics such as channel spend allocation and audience targeting.
  • Update and refine key attribution modeling for digital acquisitions, including subscription-based partnerships, paid media, and digital marketing.
  • Enhance execution of marketing campaigns by increasing the visibility of ad tech platforms and ingesting those data sources to report on their performance

Required Education/Professional Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required

Required Skills/Knowledge Attributes

  • 1 - 3 years working with direct-to-consumer products in an analytical, research, or insights role.
  • SQL proficiency is a required
  • Hands-on experience with reporting & visualization platforms like Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI
  • Experience with DBT & Amplitude a plus
  • Experience with data, analytics, and marketing platforms such as Adobe, Braze, Google Marketing Platform, and Facebook Ads Manager is a plus
  • Experience with R or Python is a plus
  • Experience with MTA or MMM modeling is a plus

Salary Range: $78,000 - $92,000
