Position:

The CRM Analyst is part of the Revenue Department for Minnesota United Football Club (MNUFC), a sports business located in the Twins Cities area of Minnesota and a member of Major League Soccer (MLS), the top tier soccer league in North America.

Job Description:
Minnesota United FC is looking for a CRM Analyst with experience in using data and analytics to improve operations and tell stories. This individual will be responsible for interacting with large quantities of data, moving and cleaning the data, analyzing the data and presenting findings to key decision makers. This role is at the center of supporting business operations and as a CRM Analyst, you will be providing the technical knowledge to efficiently use Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud.

This is a full-time position based in Golden Valley, MN reporting to the Senior Director, Business Intelligence.

Essential Duties:

  • Perform day-to-day Salesforce Sales Cloud administrative activities including, but not limited to, campaign setup and execution, activity assignment, database auditing and cleansing, list segmentation, updating contact details, field/object creation
  • Responsible for CRM onboarding of new employees, conducting regular training sessions with new and existing CRM users
  • Learn, manage and maintain Salesforce automated processes (Flows)
  • Work closely with Analytics, Marketing and Ticketing team to segment database, devise lead assignment automations and distribute leads to drive engagement and desired KPI’s
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide insights to senior leadership with the purpose of informing future ticket sales
  • Ability to build data processes that generate insights to inform near-real-time decision-making
  • Create and manage ad hoc analysis and scalable reporting/dashboards that monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), highlight areas of improvement, and influence strategy to serve business objectives via hands-on data exploration
  • Ability to work game days to assist Analytics/Ticketing/Marketing/Sponsorship team as needed
  • Assist with everyday processes and other long-term projects as assigned

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a preferred degree or diploma in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field
  • Experience working with a CRM system (preferably Salesforce) in an analytical role
  • At least 1 year of experience working with complex databases, troubleshooting problems, analyzing information and data, designing queries and reports and creating operational policies and procedures is preferred
  • Proficient in SQL
  • Preferred experience visualizing data with Tableau
  • Preferred experience working with Amazon Redshift
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate findings to visual depiction for various audiences
  • Advanced level Microsoft Excel skills
  • Previous experience working in sports preferred
  • Flexible and reliable team player, always acting in the best interest of their department and the Company
  • Keen attention to detail, strong conflict resolution, problem-solving, time management, organization, and decision-making skills are highly desired
  • Team player with a positive attitude, professionalism, resourcefulness, integrity, motivation, and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
