Position:
The Camps & Clinics Coordinator is part of the Youth Development Program (YDP) for Minnesota United FC (MNUFC), a sports business located in the Twins Cities area of Minnesota and a member of Major League Soccer (MLS), the top tier soccer league in North America.
Job Description:
The Camps & Clinics Coordinator position is responsible for on-field coaching and leadership for MNUFC Youth Camps & Clinics, and assisting with the organization and execution of youth programming and events throughout the Twin Cities, State of MN, and surrounding states. This role will help create a positive experience for youth players in the community.
This full-time position is based in Blaine, MN and reports to the Manager, Youth Camps & Clinics.
Hereโs what youโll do:
- Lead on-field coaching and direct part time staff during camps, clinics, and events to ensure camps run smoothly and activities run on time
- Answer parent questions at the events and make weather related decisions on site
- Set up, execution, and tear down for Camps, Clinics and Pre-Academy training sessions
- Travel to out of town and out of state MNUFC youth and ID camps
- Plan, organize, and execute age appropriate training sessions, following Club methodology
- Assist with the set-up, execution and tear down of events including but not limited to:
- MNUFC ID Showcase and other tournaments
- MNUFC2 Combine, MNUFC Academy Try-Outs and Discovery ID events
- MNUFC sponsored coach education events
- Assist with administrative duties including but not limited to: shirt sorting, shirt printing and inventory, email distribution list building, registration building, roster building and parent communications
- Provide a positive experience and service for all participants and their families
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
- Previous experience coaching youth soccer
- US Soccer D license (or equivalent) at minimum
- Are reliable and have reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays and weekdays
- Ability to travel locally and to out of state camps and events as needed
- Ability to lift minimum of 50 lbs. and stay active throughout training sessions
- Applicant must be able to comply with MLS Next Safety and Well-Being policies and guidelines
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Bilingual skills preferred
