Overview

The Video Editor will provide post-production support through editing content in a range of styles for delivery across all channels (digital, scoreboard, tv). Additionally, the Video Editor will assist our post-production team by organizing footage and assets and prepping project files. This position will have limited hours in December and January.

Core duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Cut and assemble source footage and audio.
  • Edit in a range of styles from high-energy hype to documentary storytelling.
  • Edit, design and mix audio.
  • Color correct and grade footage.
  • Pull selects and distribute to team.
  • Curate music in a number of genres.
  • Direct VO talent during recording sessions.
  • Collaborate with Director – Video Productions, Senior Editor and Productions Manager on creative direction and timelines.
  • Support Senior Editor by organizing footage and assets and preparing project files.
  • Collaborate with motion graphic designers to integrate animation and VFX.
  • Log metadata and manage catalog of digital footage and assets.
  • Encode and share files for use across numerous platforms.
  • Produce high-quality content and problem-solve in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Stay current with content trends.

The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of experience in video production, as well as strong organization skills and the ability to multi-task while maintaining a high level of detail across multiple projects. Candidates with the ability to utilize post-production software programs including Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator) are preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license.
