Overview

As part of the Player Development department, the Affiliate Development Coach will work toward advancing the club’s use and understanding of available technological resources and data to improve player performance.

Core duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

Employ evidence-based baseball training that aligns with Brewers Player Development principles.
Manage data collection and written documentation of player development efforts and player-facing feedback loops.
Assist with setup and operation of baseball training technology at affiliate location.

The ideal candidate will have two years of baseball-related coaching and/or playing experience and possess the ability to throw competitive batting practice and hit fungoes. Candidates with existing knowledge and demonstrated history applying ball tracking technology, bat sensors, high speed cameras, force plates and/or biomechanics reports are preferred.
