We are looking for an experienced People Data & Insights Manager with excellent communication skills to lead our People Data & Analytics team. In this key role, you will drive the growth of our analytics function, ensuring that our insights are robust, tailored to meet diverse organisational needs, and drive informed decision-making.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and develop the People Data & Analytics team, establishing annual plans to grow the function. Act as a line manager to team members, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure their professional development and success.
  • Understand and assess data and reporting needs across the People function and wider business, ensuring our analytics meet these requirements. Own and maintain the People data model, ensuring it is robust, accurate, and aligned with CFG’s target systems and data architecture.
  • Build and implement a robust methodology for the effective delivery of data and insights projects, ensuring they meet business needs and strategic objectives. Serve as the main point of contact for People analytics within the business, tailoring data delivery to meet the needs of various stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Finance team to improve People forecasts, particularly regarding resource, costs, and workforce planning. Develop models and analytics that provide clear, actionable insights to support financial and operational planning.
  • Lead the development and implementation of data automation processes to streamline the collection, analysis, and reporting of People data. Ensure that automated solutions are reliable, scalable, and enhance the efficiency of data workflows across the HR function.
  • Lead the data workstream during the implementation of new People systems, ensuring that data integrity, security, and accuracy are prioritised throughout the process. Collaborate with the Technology team and other relevant stakeholders to define data requirements, support data migration, and establish protocols for ongoing master data management.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience managing a People Data & Analytics function in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise with HR Information Systems, demonstrating proficiency in managing master data and numerical insights.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify complex data for diverse audiences, and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong project management capabilities, with a track record of delivering data projects on time and within budget.
  • Familiarity with SuccessFactors or similar HR systems, and a strong understanding of HR KPIs and SLAs.
  • Proficiency in data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for impactful reporting.
  • Experience leading change initiatives related to data processes and technology implementations.
  • Relevant qualifications in business process analysis (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) and/or project management (e.g., PRINCE2, Scrum).
  • In-depth knowledge of data governance principles, including familiarity with databases, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
