To provide the highest quality administrative and operational support for the Director of Player Health and Performance and the Group Performance Services Department and ensure outstanding delivery of Performance Services to CFG Clubs and Players.

Your Impact

  1. Provide effective PA and administrative services to the Director of Player Health and Performance.

  1. Provide effective medical administration services to the Remote Players and Group Clubs, specifically in the coordination and administration of identified pre-signing medicals and CFA delivered training or rehabilitation inc overseeing the procurement, inventory, and distribution of performance kits and equipment, ensuring teams are adequately equipped.

  1. Work closely with senior practitioners to maintain up to date policies and procedures (e.g, safeguarding and CFG guidance) and implement them in accordance to best practice

  1. Support and co-ordinate workstreams across key strategic areas, including Injury Management, Physical Performance, Psychology, Research & Innovation & Data and Analysis.

  1. To liaise with direct reports to the Director of Player Health and Performance to lead on the planning and coordination of meetings and events, staff travel, book meeting rooms, conferences, arrange catering, manage invitations of visitors and co-ordinate filing of all relevant documentation.

  1. To prepare information and documentation required by Director of Player Health and Performance and Group Performance services as and when required.

  1. Develop close and trusted working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including Performance staff and consultants and support staff to always ensure a cohesive multi-disciplinary approach.

  1. Effectively manage the contracting, invoicing, expenses, and payment process for all consultants working in the Group Performance Services departments and track all invoicing and receipting to enable monthly forecasting of spend and provide financial updates to the budget holders.



What we are looking for

Essential

  • Highly organised with an eye for detail, strong general administration and record keeping skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • A diligent planner and organiser.
  • Relevant vocational qualifications and experience that provide an understanding of the technical and tactical demands of Professional Football.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office and Athlete Management Systems.

Desirable

  • PRINCE2 Project Management qualification
  • Previous experience or qualification using visualisation platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Procurement Systems.
  • Good understanding of Football and experience of working in Professional Sports Governing Body environment.
