Temp Coordinator, Operations
Overview
This position will assist in managing various aspects of the MLS/SUM event operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and delivery of MLS/SUM events (including but not limited to Domestic Tent Pole events, International Friendlies and Leagues Cup).
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Soccer/Tournament Operations Center, as necessary.
- Develop dashboards and processes to enable information flow and track status, key dates, deadlines for events.
- Assist department in updating key documents for tent pole events (i.e., Stadium profiles, Training Site Profiles)
- Carry out inventory management and support with shipping logistics for our tent pole events.
- Assist Venue Manager and Match Coordinator for assigned MLS and SUM Events, as assigned by department leadership.
- Travel up to 25%
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelorโs Degree
- 1-2 years of experience in similar role is preferred
Required Skills
- Knowledge of the sport of soccer
- Conversational or Fluency in Spanish is required
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Product Suites and Adobe Creative Suite
- Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills
Desired Skills
- Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
