Temp Coordinator, Operations

Overview

This position will assist in managing various aspects of the MLS/SUM event operations.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and delivery of MLS/SUM events (including but not limited to Domestic Tent Pole events, International Friendlies and Leagues Cup).
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Soccer/Tournament Operations Center, as necessary.
  • Develop dashboards and processes to enable information flow and track status, key dates, deadlines for events.
  • Assist department in updating key documents for tent pole events (i.e., Stadium profiles, Training Site Profiles)
  • Carry out inventory management and support with shipping logistics for our tent pole events.
  • Assist Venue Manager and Match Coordinator for assigned MLS and SUM Events, as assigned by department leadership.
  • Travel up to 25%
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-2 years of experience in similar role is preferred

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of the sport of soccer
  • Conversational or Fluency in Spanish is required
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Product Suites and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills

Desired Skills

  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
