Our marketing efforts are critical to the support of the growth of our product on and off the field.

The Manager, Brand & Integrated Marketing ensures that MLS Marketing continually has its pulse on culture, supports outstanding marketing efforts that build value and desirability in the brand, drives increased fandom, and elevates the quality and efficiency of our output.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a broad range of marketing projects, including seasonal campaign roll-out and execution, high priority match support, and Club-related marketing initiatives.
  • Work with commercial partners to provide MLS and Club integration recommendations and guidance across their individual campaign expressions.
  • Assist in the execution of Big Events (e.g. MLS All-Star, MLS Cup), including management of creative needs, local grassroots promotional efforts, and enhancing in-market opportunities to drive scale for fan-facing events (e.g. concerts).
  • Support marketing efforts for special projects across and related to MLS properties (digital products, MLS Go, Apple partnership marketing etc.)
  • Provide assistance across the development and execution of our season long influencer & culture strategy, including agency partner management, end to end talent management, and performance reporting.
  • Compile, manage, track relevant insights and data of each marketing initiative to assist in the development of campaign recaps (Big Events, influencer campaigns etc.)
  • Elevate the quality of brand output, providing relevant market research, presentation assistance and creative development of brand campaigns.
  • Track and oversee the team budget, which may include, but not limited to, receiving and logging invoices, facilitate creation of POs for billing, etc.
  • Assist in launching local market paid activations for Big Events

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ proven experience in a brand marketing & strategy, creative, project management role, leading cross-functional efforts

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Demonstrated efficient decision making and problem-solving skills
  • High-level of commitment to a quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity and compliance
  • Ability to travel and to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays`

Desired Skills:

  • Passion and knowledge of soccer
  • Knowledge of Spanish language (business proficiency)
  • Understanding of the Latinx market, a plus

Total Rewards

Starting Base Salary: $75,000 – $85,000. MLS/SUM base salaries are contingent upon several factors including individual qualifications, market financials, and operational business needs.
