Basic Function:

  • Monitors all projects’ daily expenditures, cash releases, investments, operational costs and other cash-related activities within the organization.
  • Provides ideas and solutions to ensure accuracy and improve efficiencies within Treasury.
  • Assist accounting staff in performing special project analysis and in providing detail for all financial reporting.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cash recordkeeping duties to include but not be limited to, coordinating the transfer of cash records and other treasury activity to accounting for booking and monitoring available cash balances daily.
  • Perform reconciliations of treasury activity in general ledger.
  • Prepare wire transfers for entry, print checks and upload records to bank, and prepare and document check deposits.
  • Download bank statements and assist Accounting Manager with bank reconciliations for all accounts.
  • Create and deliver scheduled and ad-hoc reports related to cash management.
  • Prepare and deliver debt compliance support.
  • Responsible for debt recordkeeping, perform interest calculations and verify third party interest and fee invoices
  • Perform cash related month-end close and year-end close procedures and meet deadlines.
  • Perform monthly account reconciliation as assigned.
  • Contribute to the budget, forecast and audit processes.
  • Build, develop, and maintain data models to optimize decision-making processes.
  • Explore ways to use data and automation to improve existing processes and provide additional insight to management.
  • Perform various other tasks as may be assigned from time to time by the Accounting Manager, Controller and/or Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer.

Position requires face-to-face personal interaction with staff, peers, and other Club personnel; therefore, job responsibilities must be physically performed in the Club offices and not in a telecommuting manner.


Skills Required:

  • Working knowledge of various accounting software applications.
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office software, with an emphasis on Excel.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a high-energy environment.
  • Possess excellent attention to detail and an ability to produce high-quality, accurate work within designated deadlines.
  • Display strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create and maintain solid working relationships at all levels across the organization and externally.
  • Ability to maintain confidential and/or proprietary information.
  • Ability and internal drive to demonstrate a winning attitude and a strong work ethic in the performance of all job responsibilities.


Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university is preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years related experience in accounting/finance environment required.
  • In lieu of education, a minimum of seven (7) years related experience is required.
