JOB SUMMARY:

Change leader to guide the events department and ensure top quality through both the sales and service process. Managing workload, big picture sales strategy and relevant business contacts/relationships. Lead the department to achieve aggressive sales goals, attract more impactful large scale business and define Lambeau Field’s position in the Regional meeting/convention market.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • General oversight of the entire events sales effort and guide the direction of the sales team.
  • Manage key relationships with local/regional associations and businesses with a focus on lead generation (e.g. Lodge Kohler, Chamber of Commerce, Discover Green Bay, PMI Entertainment, Lodging Association, Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and Wisconsin Society of Association Executives)
  • Lead Event Sales team daily for continuous growth and performance of sales goals
  • Manage Coordinators workloads, cross train and develop bench strength for the organization.
  • Ensure service and guest experience is exemplary at every touch point
  • Facilitate productive and collaborative relationships with Delaware North management
  • Continually evaluate the Momentus system to ensure the full potential of its usage
  • Collaborate with Events Manager to manage and monitor the annual budget
  • Prepare annual budget presentations
  • Assist in the hiring, coaching, and mentoring of the Events Staff
  • Create synergy between Lambeau Field, Titletown, and the Resch Expo (PMI) for the purposes of continuous sales growth
  • Work closely with other departments in the organization to bolster profit margins while ensuring excellent guest experiences
  • Energetically contribute ideas to promote event business within Lambeau Field and Titletown
  • Assists with the development, implementation, and administration of sales and marketing plans and collateral for the event sales department
  • Evaluate the client questionnaires following events to ensure positive fulfillment and desirability for repeat business
  • Collaboratively works with Premium Seating Department on cross-selling to suite holders and club seat holders

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Undergraduate degree
  • 5-10 years management experience
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and Lead a team.
  • Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours, within a team environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Ability to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time throughout the day.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to reach, stoop, and lift on a frequent basis.
  • Ability to focus on projects for periods of time.
  • Operates in a professional office environment.
  • Role routinely uses standard office equipment.
  • Travel required
