POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our Box Office Team at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in downtown Cleveland. This person will be involved in creating ticketed events through the AXS & SeatGeek ticketing platforms for concerts and family shows. This position will work directly with the promoter, artist management, and our booker. Under the supervision of the Director of Box Office Operations, the Box Office Lead maintains daily ticket operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare event on sales via AXS and SeatGeek (holds/prices/etc.)
  • Reviews events for operational satisfaction, including but not limited to staffing needs, event setup distribution, and the event checklist.
  • Design discount and availability sheets.
  • Publish events and offers to the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse website.
  • Assists in preparing Ticket Office statements for promoter, accounting department, and management.
  • Provides up-to-date event information to staff.
  • Assists in the supervision of event shift.
  • Manages inventory for upcoming events.
  • Manages premium inventory and sales.
  • Processes ticket orders.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred (sports management, hospitality, event management, business, etc.).
  • Minimum 6+ months experience in a box office or ticketing position, preferably utilizing AXS and SeatGeek ticketing platforms.
  • Excellent typing and computer skills required.
  • Bookkeeping/accounting experience strongly preferred.
  • Must have schedule flexibility, as working nights, weekends and holidays is required.
  • Must be or be willing to become a member of Local 756 Union.
  • Excellent customer service experience.
  • Sound problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and work efficiently while meeting deadlines.
  • Must be cooperative, courteous, patient, and tactful in all interactions with guests and others.
  • Ability to exercise initiative and work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to follow directions and handle multiple functions simultaneously.
