Summary Description
The Manager, Corporate Partnership Activation is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, measurement and overall management and success of many of the Teamā€™s corporate partnerships. Relationship development with each partner the Manager is responsible for is a must, inclusive of touch point planning and expanding the relationships he or she has within each partnerā€™s company. The Manager will serve an imperative role during the renewal process of those partnerships. The Manager must have a thorough understanding of all aspects of the Corporate Partnership departmentā€™s overall operations, including (but not limited to) special event planning, community programs, signage management, media management, and executing/capturing case studies and best in class examples.

Duties

  • On-going strategic planning with each partner to achieve their goals, objectives and KPIs
  • Execution and measurement of select partner marketing / activation programs
  • Have a strong understanding of each partnerā€™s business and serve as an extension of their business
  • Plan, manage and document, in CRM, all partnership communications, including regular outreach calls/meetings, recap meetings and presentations
  • Further partner growth efforts by successfully fulfilling all elements within partnership deals, and consistently present partners with new marketing opportunities that will help their business, and generate incremental revenue for the team
  • Further the current and new business sales efforts by actively collaborating with the activation and sales group to identify revenue opportunities utilizing existing and newly-created partnership inventory (i.e., television, in-market promotions, social media, etc.)
  • Potential department liaison for a vertical of business operations that the Activation team works closely with (i.e. Digital Marketing, Business Analytics, Community Relations, etc.)
  • Represent the Team at various networking events and participate in other sales and community events, as defined by the Team
  • Build relationships with all decision makers and influencers of partnerships

Qualifications

  • 4-year college degree
  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional sports team sales and activation, and/or agency experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs (including CRM)
  • Proficiency in InDesign, Custom Show, and Photoshop preferred
  • Ability to think creatively and ā€œoutside of the boxā€ as it pertains to developing marketing and activation campaigns for small, mid and large business partners
  • Ability to work weekends, nights and holidays as dictated by events or requirements
