OVERALL PURPOSE:

The Cleveland Browns Corporate Partnerships team embraces a consultative approach to partnership sales, activation, and success. The Coordinator of Corporate Partnerships is responsible for helping to elevate our business, support contractual elements of our partners, and to help set the Browns on track to become the most innovative and creative marketing vehicle in sports. Above all, this position requires a passion for sponsorships and understanding why they work, and gaining a stronger business acumen through being curious, and learning/developing as a professional each week.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This candidate will be exposed to a wide variety of Browns businesses challenges and objectives and will aide our Strategy and Activation Teams with increasing overall sponsorship revenue for the franchise and assisting with the execution of various sponsor contractual elements. As such, key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Management of the contract process
  • Management of all partner contacts in CRM, ensuring that all lists for invites, communications, gifting are accurate
  • Credit Card reconciliation each month
  • Management of keeping the master white paper updated
  • Working hand in hand with Business Analytics team on inventory adjustments in our CRM platform
  • Managing merchandise inventory and ordering, and keeping the budget for this
  • Management of fulfillment of all autographed merchandise, as well as Community signing day
  • Assisting with hospitality management of all home and away games for CP hosting (tickets, field passes, F&B, hotels, travel arrangements, executive bios, gifting)
  • Assistance with department event planning, such as Inner Circle events, Training Camp, Draft Day, etc.
  • Assistance with partner on-site events both in planning and execution
  • Assistance with building new business and recap decks
  • Research of current partners and prospective partner categories
  • All other projects and duties as assigned, to help all areas of the Corporate Partnerships team

Additional duties & responsibilities include:

  • Game /Event Attendance Requirements: The Coordinator of Partnership Strategy will be required to attend team events/home games and potential events in other markets as needed by the Corporate Partnerships team.
  • Teamwork: Work closely with other team members on the Corporate Partnerships team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Organizational Goals: Assist and support the cross organizational goals of the other departments – season ticket sales, marketing, community investment, etc. -- to ensure that their programs and strategic plans are being incorporated into the proposals of our corporate partners and prospects.
  • Professional Conduct: Strive to ensure that all elements of our agreements are delivered in a first-class manner in accordance with the philosophy of the franchise and within the provisions of the contractual obligations of the organization.
  • Mission Statement: Support the franchise mission statement, vision, and values of being Team First, Fan Obsessed, Driven, Innovative and Fun.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION/JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • College degree required
  • 1-3 years of brand, sports agency and/or sports team experience, specifically related to marketing, corporate partnerships, and sales
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and written
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required and the ability to work independently is a must
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities and projects while working with many categories of clients
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Performs any other duties as assigned by the Director of Partnership Strategy and Senior Director, Partnership Activation
