Job Title: Spanish Social Media Coordinator
Department: Marketing and Communications
Reports to: Senior Manager of Social Media
Status: Full-time, Hourly, Non-Exempt

Position Summary:

The Cincinnati Reds are seeking a social media coordinator to support the social media department in creating entertaining, innovative and timely content that drives engagement and community growth for both Spanish and English accounts.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with social team on planning and execution of content for @Rojos and @Reds.
  • Lead game coverage on Rojos Spanish accounts on X, Instagram and Facebook.
  • Assist game coverage on Reds accounts under guidance of the Social Media Manager and Senior Manager.
  • Create impactful visual assets for Rojos’ and Reds’ social platforms
  • Assist with tracking and reporting Spanish accounts growth and overall performance.
  • Work with social media, creative, photography, and video production teams to identify opportunities to develop Spanish-first content.
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends and content across social platforms.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
  • Experience creating engaging content social media platforms including Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube.
  • Proficient with Adobe Suite, specifically Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
  • Excellent writing skills; strong handle of grammar, punctuation and social voice.
  • Creative, out-of-the-box thinker with a knowledge of sports, pop culture and entertainment.
  • Organized, flexible and high attention to detail with ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work with a team and take direction, as well as work independently.
  • Extensive knowledge of and passion for baseball and social media.
  • Prior experience running a brand or team social account in Spanish is a plus.


Work Environment:

  • Work is performed in both an office environment as well as outdoors where the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.
  • Hours will include nights, weekends, and holidays.


Expectations:

  • Work the majority of Reds games, from the ballpark or remotely at home.
  • Adhere to Cincinnati Reds Organization Policies and Procedures.
  • Maintain discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Meet department productivity standards and perform duties as workload necessitates.
  • Demonstrate efficient time management and the ability to prioritize workload.
