The Chicago Bulls are seeking someone who has a passion for online content creators and bringing people closer together. This person will join our Marketing team as a Creators & Communities Associate for the upcoming 2023-2024 season. As the Associate, you will primarily be responsible for assisting with executing creator and community marketing initiatives. This will include working with social media content creators of various audience sizes and areas of influence (aspiring creators, online celebrities, Bulls-focused accounts, etc.). This will also include responsibilities such as supporting existing creator and community programs, managing inbound and internal requests, developing recap decks, and more. In addition, you will provide daily backing to the Marketing department and collaborate with creative teams across the organization.

This position will start in September 2023 and will continue through the end of the season.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be part of a successful team, gaining relevant and first-mover experience. More specifically, your responsibilities will range across the following:

  • Participate in executing creator activations and campaigns, including sourcing creators, being onsite, and generating recap reports.

  • Assist with coordination and activation of in-person community connection opportunities including but not limited to, pre/post-game meetups, launch events, watch parties, etc.

  • Support online fan community growth, including bringing to life engagement activities such as Q&A’s with players. Develop reporting structures to track results of these efforts.

  • Assist with the development and rollout of both creator, and fan-community programs.

  • Manage ticket requests from fan-community heads, visiting creators, and strategic partners.

  • Own the fulfillment process for prizing, surprise and delights, and gifting of creators and key community members.

  • Develop and build deck materials, planning documents and aid in research projects.

Qualifications:

  • An understanding of the online content creator landscape and/or experience as a creator.

  • Previous experience working with creators and/or building online fan communities.

  • An outgoing “people-person” personality, with the ability to stay poise when working with high-profile talent.

  • Strong ability to prioritize, adapt as necessary, and update, track and handle workflow, with consistent demonstrated ability to get the job done well while meeting goals and deadlines.

  • Ability to work quickly in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

  • Social skills that reflect exclusive examples of professionalism, preparation, collaboration, service and creativity.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal).

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint or similar tools for pitch and recap decks.

  • Excellent teammate, with positive energy, who has a desire to learn.

  • Have reliable means of transportation and can work nights and weekends.

Note that this role pays an hourly wage, requires flexible work hours and may include work outside of normal office hours during the business week and on weekends.
